Chapter 1
The Case of the Monster Mash’s Mumbling Mummy
One October day, Pascal the otter and his two brothers Reed and Clayton, were swimming with excitement—they’d been invited to the Zoo’s Monster Mash Bash!

“We need costumes!” Pascal squeaked. The three otters raced to their favorite places around the zoo, searching for the spookiest, silliest costumes.

Pascal’s costume had to be perfect. “A mummy!” he mumbled. He wrapped himself in soft, white bandages until he was covered head to paw. Meanwhile, his brothers picked out their costumes and scurried to the party. They were ready to dance and play under the moonlight, but where was Pascal? Suddenly, a shadowy figure stumbled toward them, wrapped in loose, lumpy bandages. The figure let out a low, mumbling moan.

“A real mummy!” Clayton and Reed yelped, and the two brothers scurried away as fast as their paws would carry them. But the mysterious mummy followed, its bandages flapping as it mumbled and moaned. Just as they thought they’d escape, the bandages slipped away, revealing... Pascal!

“It’s me!” Pascal giggled. “I’m the mumbling mummy!”
Chapter 2
The Broomstick Brigade
It was Halloween night at the zoo, and Georgie and Malay, the gibbons, were ready for mischief. Dressed as witches, they zoomed around on broomsticks, cackling with delight. High above the trees, they brewed a magical potion for the Monster Mash Bash.

“Eye of newt, tiger’s root, a dash of gorilla’s glee!” Georgie giggled as Malay tossed in some sneaky snickers. With a puff of sparkling smoke, their potion was ready. But being cheeky, they couldn’t resist a few pranks—swapping the gorilla’s bananas for pumpkins and scattering pretend spiders in the black bear’s den!

As the Monster Mash Bash kicked off, the potion worked its magic. Red pandas danced, lions roared, and even Joe the sloth got into the spooky spirit. The zoo filled with laughter as the animals enjoyed the gibbons’ witchy fun.

“Witches or not,” said the tiger, “we love these tricky gibbons!”

And so, Georgie and Malay joined the party, flying high and spreading magical mayhem wherever they went!
Chapter 3
The Winged Wizard & The Candy Curse
In the heart of the zoo's Halloween festivities, Olivia, the elegant barn owl, decided to spread a touch of magical mischief. Perched high in her barn, she donned a sparkling wizard’s hat and waved her wand with a flick and a hoot. With a twinkle in her eye, Olivia cast a playful spell on the unsuspecting mice below.

“Wings of wonder, whiskers of whimsy, weave a web of wondrous Halloween tricks-ies! Let every corner glow with magical glee, as enchantment fills the zoo and treats flow free!”

“Off you go, my tiny friends,” she chirped, “fetch me all the candy from the gardens if you please!” The mice, delighted under the magical spell, scampered off on a candy quest, weaving through the vibrant gardens and gathering every sweet they could find.

As they returned, their tiny paws full of treats, Olivia hooted with laughter, her eyes gleaming with the joy of her clever prank. She gave some to the mice, and flew over the zoo dropping the rest of the sweet treats in unsuspecting baskets. The zoo echoed with laughter and cheers as the wise old owl’s spell turned Halloween into a sweet adventure for everyone!
